DiffPlug stores all of a user’s settings files in ~/.diffplug/preferences/.

If you’d like all the users of a given install of DiffPlug to have a certain default configuration, create a folder called pref_override in your DiffPlug install directory, and copy in the preferences which you’d like to become the default for all users of the given installation.

In the example below, all users of the given installation will have overridden default settings for the Synergy plugin.

Note that these only override default settings - if the user already has an existing setting, it will not by overridden.
